Privacy policy

Last updated 31 August 2026

This policy explains what Pea Gravel Calculator (peagravelcalculators.com) collects, what it does not, and the third parties involved in running the site.

The short version

Your measurements never leave your device. The calculator is JavaScript running in your browser — nothing you type is transmitted to us, stored, or logged anywhere. We do serve third-party advertising, and those advertisers set their own cookies.

What we do not collect

  • We do not collect or store the dimensions, depths, prices or results you enter.
  • We have no user accounts, logins or profiles.
  • We do not ask for your name, address, phone number or payment details.
  • We do not sell data to anybody.

The calculator performs every computation locally. If you disconnect from the internet after the page loads, it still works — which is the simplest demonstration that your inputs are not being sent anywhere.

Cookies and advertising

This site is supported by advertising. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.
  • You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
  • You can opt out of a broader set of third-party vendors at aboutads.info/choices or optout.networkadvertising.org.
  • Third-party vendors and ad networks other than Google may also serve ads on this site and set their own cookies. We do not control those cookies.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are used and how the site performs. It sets cookies and records information such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, device type and browser. This is aggregate traffic data — it is not linked to any identity, and it does not include anything you type into the calculator. You can prevent it entirely with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Server logs

Like nearly all websites, our host records standard request logs — IP address, user agent, referring page, timestamp and the file requested. These are used for security and diagnosing faults, and are retained only as long as the host keeps them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live — for example under the UK GDPR, the EU GDPR, or the California Consumer Privacy Act — you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data held about you, and to object to processing.

In practice we hold almost nothing: no accounts, no submitted data, no mailing list. Requests about advertising or analytics data are usually best directed to Google, since that data sits with them rather than us. If you have emailed us, we hold that correspondence, and we will delete it on request. Contact us through the contact page.

Children

This site is aimed at people planning landscaping and construction work. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

External links

We link to third-party sites — standards bodies, suppliers and reference material. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices, and you should read their policies before providing them with information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site changes or as advertising and analytics providers change. The revision date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
